I am the owner and founder of Fit4Health, LLC, a holistic heath coaching company based in Henderson, NV specializing in weight loss and behavior change. I am a Certified Health Coach and Personal Trainer who believes that mindset is the foundation of everything we do. I use coaching strategies and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to focus on the “whole person”. I address mindset issues, such as limiting beliefs and chronic overwhelm, to facilitate behavior change while also teaching nutrition and fitness. I am trained in all areas to provide a comprehensive approach!

I have a Doctorate in Health Administration and have been an organizational leader in the health care field for over 20 years. I am currently a Lead Faculty member at Capella University and I teach leadership and coaching at both the graduate and undergraduate level. I supervise doctoral research projects that contribute to the field of health administration and I am responsible for curriculum development for the Bachelors of Science Health Care Administration program.

In addition to teaching coaching and leadership at Capella University, I work with clients all over the world, from the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. I particularly enjoy working with busy, working adults trying to juggle it all – I know first hand the challenges they are facing! I love to help them achieve their goals of more energy, strength, confidence, and focus by learning how to make mindset shifts to find balance in their very busy lives. It is much more difficult to make changes to our eating and exercise habits if don’t first address the work/life balance issue. Again, because I am trained and certified in many different areas, I have the ability to work with the “whole person” to make real change. 

I Believe…

I believe that busy, working adults owe it to themselves, their families, and their careers to take care of their health. Poor health causes us to be tired, foggy brained, and irritable and our families and organizations deserve better. I believe there is no point in having money and success if our health is poor and our life is so out of balance that we can’t enjoy it.

Let’s face it, many busy, working adults are rushing from home to work and back again just to take care of their families and build their careers. To make it worse, cell phones, tele-conferences, business lunches and dinners, business trips, and late nights at the office force us to work even longer. When we finally get home, we are tired! And that TV is so inviting!! Now we have Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon to help us relax and unwind. Who has the energy to exercise after a long day at the office?

As for nutrition, portion sizes continue to get bigger. We are eating more and consuming more processed foods. As busy working professionals, we don’t have time for elaborate meal planning so we eat on the go and grab whatever is easy.

The cards are stacked against us but that doesn’t mean that we fold! That just means that we have to work smarter, not harder, and it CAN be done! I have helped people all over the world to find work/life balance and find ways to live a healthy lifestyle which elevated their careers and their happiness.
